East Riding of Yorkshire Council has gone out to tender with a contract with a term service contract for the maintenance of flood risk assets worth an estimated £1.2 million.
The contract is being tendered in the following Lots:
- Lot 1 Jetting and CCTV Works — £135k per annum totalling is £705k over 5 years.
- Lot 2 Ground Maintenance of Flood Risk Assets — £100k per annum totalling is £530k over 5 years.
Estimated total value of the overall contract is £1,235,000.
All work will generally be confined to the territory within or adjoining the East Riding of Yorkshire area or adjoining the Humber Estuary, including Kingston upon Hull area.
The contract will be awarded for an initial period of 2 years with optional annual renewal up to a maximum total of 5 years.
These are one-off works that will be required to bring assets up to a maintainable standard, and carry out remedial works to existing assets and to replace failing components.
